Join us for the RES Vocabulary Parade this Friday, March 6th, at 1:00 PM! Students will create a costume based on a vocabulary word of their choice.
We can't wait to see the incredible vocabulary costumes. Here are a few details for our guests:
Parking: Available on the playground starting at 12:30 PM.
Doors Open: 12:45 PM.
Parade: All students will parade through the gym. The 5th graders will remain in the gym after the parade to present their vocabulary words to all our guests.

Ruston Elementary is supporting our community with Kindness! Help support CCA with our Canned Food Drive this week. The class with the most cans wins a prize!

RES 4th Grade Parents - All parking for Christmas lunch and music program will be on the back playground. Enter the playground through the Car Line entrance on Kenwood Drive. Thank you for your cooperation.

Here is the schedule for 4th grade lunch on December 18th.

RES Families - We will be closed December 10th for teacher work day, December 12th for travel to the Dome to support RHS, and December 19th for being an "A" district.

As the weather gets cooler, please look over the RES uniform information. *Jackets and hooded sweatshirts are not allowed in the classroom.

RES Families - When entering and exiting our car line, you must stop and yield to oncoming traffic. We have had several close calls of cars exiting car line and pulling out in front of an oncoming vehicle. Follow all traffic rules to keep our students safe.

Picture day is November 5th. Picture forms will go home Monday. Here is a preview of the packages available for purchase.

Our students and staff participated in a Fire Drill. The drill was successful.

Don't forget about our STEM and Parent Night Tuesday, October 28th @ RES. We have Freedom 13 presenting to our parents about internet safety. We have an Architecture group from LA Tech working with our students in a STEM activity. Parents will join the students after the presentation to complete the STEM project.
