A message from PTO: 139 students are coming home with bracelets today for raising at least $25 and 114 with a free chick fil a meal card for raising at least $50! It's not too late for your student to earn their prizes-fundraiser ends Thursday at midnight and race day is Friday! Thanks to our generous sponsors at Origin Bank and Chick-fil-A Ruston for their support of the first 2 tiers of our reward ladder! We can't wait to have outdoor picnic tables for our Aggies! Parents have requested what our uniform policy is so they can get a jump start on buying for next year. This is NOT the full uniform policy. You will get a detailed policy before the end of school. We are also adding a plaid to our uniform but that pattern has not been finalized yet. We are coordinating with CHS before uniform policies are finalized. Just a reminder, 1st Grade Lucky to Learn event is this morning starting at 8:15. Please park along the carline or down Walker Road on the same side as the playground fence. The office will have visitor badges for each guest. We look forward to seeing you.

Good luck to our basketball players as they play in their final tournament. Girls play at 10 at RHS girls' gym and boys play at 11 in RHS boys' gym. It is a tournament so if they win they will play again later today. Go Aggies!!

PreK-2 Book Character Parade is this morning in the courtyard. You may come through the front or back doors. We will open the back doors after announcements.

Kindergarten Love Our Learning Event is today from 9:30-10:15. If you plan to attend, please park down our carline road and on Walker Road (on the side of the playground fence). You will come in the front and receive a Visitor's badge before going into the classrooms. Please do not park on both sides of Walker Road. We look forward to seeing you today.

Parents, Today we practiced our lockdown procedures with the help of our SRO and Choudrant PD. Students practiced the procedures we have in place, if ever there is a need for a lockdown. Our students knew before the drill happened that we would be practicing and this was not a real event. Students did a great job.

1st grade parents: On Week at a Glance Upcoming Events our 1st Grade Lucky to Learn Event was left off. This event will take place next Tuesday, March 4 from 8:15-9:00 am. We wanted to give you time to make plans to attend. We hope to see you next week.

Lincoln Parish School Board is monitoring the weather this evening and will get updates on road conditions in the morning. They will make a decision in the morning about school. As of now, we WILL have school tomorrow.

2nd Grade Parents: The 2nd Grade teachers have decided to reschedule the Love Our Learning Event to Friday, Feb. 28. This event will immediately follow the Book Character Parade. We are hoping this will be easier on our families. We appreciate your understanding.
